Prominent Southern California based Mechanical and Electrical consultants TKSC and Konsortum1 are pleased to announce the merger of their respective firms, effective August 6th, 2012. The new business combination will be named tk1sc, headquartered in Irvine, CA with branch offices in Roseville and Riverside. By bringing together TKSC's exceptional mechanical engineering consulting services and Konsortum1's leading edge electrical engineering/design business, tk1sc will offer clients a full range of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Design, Lighting Design, Low-Voltage Systems, Sustainability, Energy Optimization and Commissioning services.

Having worked together collaboratively on projects for many years, the merger was the inevitable next step in advancing an already very successful relationship. The newly formed tk1sc has six Principals and a total staff of over ninety employees - all committed to delivering the same high quality, client- focused services that made the two merger partners the firm of choice in their respective service areas.

A true "merger of equals" is rare, but when it happens, the resulting business combination is impressive - such is the case in the merger of Konsortum 1 and TKSC.
