tk1sc provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology engineering services, with studioK1 providing lighting design services on Henkel's new Culver City office location. The headquarters includes a multi-branded Academy of Hair learning center with full salon capabilities and a showroom stage lighting system where Henkel can host customers, social influencers, and professionals. Our work on this tenant improvement project included the renovation of two floors totaling roughly 42,000 square feet, a test salon with color-tunable lighting, six new conference rooms and a shower room on the second floor, a conference room, shower room, AV room, and telepresence room on the third floor. The project also included updating lighting throughout the building to LED luminaires and new lighting controls that met current Title 24 standards.

Electrical Solutions: This office TI for the multi-branded academy of hair learning center has full salon capabilities and a showroom stage lighting system while maintaining compliance with Title 24energy codes. Specialty design elements in an open office, test salon with color-tunable lightings, AV Room, conference rooms, and combining commercial lighting fixtures with decorative/stage elements for special events.

Technology Solutions: tk1sc delivered technology design services to incorporate Henkel IT standards into construction documents that included: floorplans, enlarged IT room layouts, equipment elevations, single line diagrams, and IT device notes and details.

Lighting Design Solutions: tk1sc worked with the lighting consultant to ensure that the stage lighting systems were integrated as a part of the Title24 compliant lighting systems, controllable from their AV system for normal operations but could be partitioned to a stage lighting console for special events.
